Voice recognition software literally types up your recordings automatically by listening to your spoken dictation and typing it into a word processor. You can use these packages to dictate real-time through a headset (included in some packages) or by using a digital dictation recorder and selecting the recorded file from within the voice recognition software. All voice recognition requires training, results do vary, and it will only transcribe 1 voice at a time after a few hours practise & training (teaching the software by reading provided texts). Please note, this software is not suitable in any circumstance where you have more than one voice in the recording (IE meetings are not possible to transcribe through any voice recognition software available today).
