Datalogic introduces linear reading technology in a cordless bar code device with 2 new models of the Gryphon reader series, the M100 and M200.
A bright, sharp aiming line and state-of-the-art optics specially developed for this reader series are available in a cordless solution, allowing operations in environments where cables become an obstacle for the user.
In fact, these cordless devices can read up to 30m from the host covering and area of more than 2500sqm. Each cradle supports up to 16 readers, and up to 2,000 readers can work in the same area. A RS485 network of radio receivers can be easily implemented with the Star System components, allowing large area coverage. The seamless active roaming allows the user to move freely along the whole covered area.
Available in two dedicated models for linear (M100) and stacked (M200) code reading, the Gryphon M readers are ideal for data management in retail environment such as cash & carry point-of-sale.
