The DS2300 provides excellent versatility with the expandable memory card allowing up to 2 and a half hours (with the included card) (on short play); and up to 20 hours with an optional 128mb xD card.
This allows the DS2300 to be used as both a dictation and basic conference recorder.
Downloading is as easy as plugging in the recorder to your computer or laptop, with the provided usb cable and using the included software.
Coupled with the AS2300 transcription kit, typing the recordings from the DS2300 is as easy as double clicking the file within the DSS Player Software. Playback speed, volume, auto backspacing can all be controlled from within the software, like the old tape machines; but now with more.
